Columbia Pike Artist Studios- Open Studio pARTy

26 artists at Columbia Pike and artist co-op, will exhibit new works at their Spring 2019 Open Studios and Exhibition event

What:
Columbia Pike artist studios, an artist cooperative, in Arlington Virginia, will offer an open studio of 26 artists working across media: painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. A group exhibition will be opening in the gallery. The exhibition will be open during the open studio event.

Who:
Participating artists are: Sarah Bentley, Karen Bland, Rhys Conlon, Deb Crerie, Helen Ginberg, Roberta Gottesman, Anne Hancock, Paula Lantz, Carl Lennartson, Barry Lindley, Viondette Lopez, Sharon Malley, Susan McElhinney, Nan Morrison, Kimberley Murphy-Lyons, Robbie Namy, Morgan Norwood, M. M. Panas, Jean Sausele-Knodt, Marta Sewall, Joseph Spollen, Janis Sweeney, Alice Whealin, Bobbi Wolcott, Jay Young Gerard and Vladimir Zabavskiy

When:
Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 6 to 9 PM and Sunday, April 7, from 2 to 5 PM

About:
Columbia Pike Artist Studios will open its doors for a behind the scenes showcase of recent works by 26 of its member artists. This studio has been a cooperative organization since 1989 at this location. The artists will be available to discuss their art in their studios. Many of their artworks will be for available for purchase. Refreshments will be served.

Columbia Pike Artist Studios, 932 South Walter Reed Dr., Second floor, Arlington, VA 22204

Parking:
Parking is located at the end of 9th Rd., South, behind the McDonald's parking lot, and is identified by a large sign that reads, "No Fringe Parking." Visitors may also park at the Arlington Career Center, at 816 S. Walter Reed Dr., Arlington, VA 22204. Street Parking is metered until 8pm on Saturdays.

Public Transportation:
ART and city buses serve the intersection of Columbia Pike and Walter Reed Drive.
